Vắc-xin COVID-19 tiêm cho trẻ em có ảnh hưởng đến vấn đề sinh sản?

 

Một số cử tri lo lắng vắc-xin chế tạo công nghệ mới liệu có ảnh hưởng vấn đề sinh sản, sức khỏe của trẻ và đề nghị Bộ trưởng Y tế cung cấp cơ sở khoa học bộ triển khai đại trà tiêm vắc-xin cho trẻ?

Về vấn đề này, trả lời chất vấn trước Quốc hội ngày 10/11, Bộ trưởng Y tế Nguyễn Thanh Long cho biết, đây là vấn đề nhiều cử tri quan tâm. Việc tổ chức tiêm vắc-xin COVID-19 cho trẻ em đã được tổng kết, đánh giá, nghiên cứu, trao đổi với WHO, Quỹ Nhi đồng, CDC Hoa Kỳ, các nhà khoa học… cho phép tiêm MRNA cho trẻ từ 12 tuổi trở lên. Có gần 40 quốc gia đã tiêm vắc-xin COVID-19 cho trẻ em, cách làm cũng là tiêm từ lứa tuổi cao xuống thấp, ở nhóm có bệnh lý nền.

Vắc-xin duy nhất đang được sử dụng để tiêm cho trẻ em là Pfizer. Cơ chế tác động vắc-xin này, khi vào cơ thể không xâm nhập vào hệ gen, chỉ xâm nhập vào bào tương, kết hợp tạo ra kháng thể, không xâm nhập trực tiếp vào các ADN nên WHO, FDA khẳng định không gây đột biến, không gây ảnh hưởng sinh sản. Tuy nhiên chúng ta tiếp tục theo dõi.

Còn vắc-xin thứ 2 là vắc-xin công nghệ bất hoạt Sinopharm, được đánh giá an toàn với trẻ. Bộ trưởng khẳng định lại, mọi vắc-xin Việt Nam sử dụng tiêm cho trẻ đều an toàn, được WHO khuyến cáo sử dụng. Bộ cũng tham khảo WHO trước khi sử dụng vắc-xin này cho trẻ em.

Về việc xiệc xây dựng, triển khai chiến lược vắc-xin COVID-19, Bộ trưởng Nguyễn Thanh Long cho biết, chúng ta tiếp cận vắc-xin sớm nhưng mua muộn hơn do nhiều nguyên nhân. Việt Nam tiếp cận vắc-xin từ tháng 9/2020 khi làm việc và thỏa thuân với COVAX. 2 tháng sau chúng ta đã có thỏa thuận với AstraZeneca cung ứng 30 triệu liều. Sau đó thúc đẩy nghiên cứu sản xuất trong nước, nhưng theo Bộ trưởng, yếu tố khách quan là khan hiếm vắc-xin toàn cầu suốt năm qua.

Bộ trưởng Bộ Y tế cũng nêu nhiều khó khó khăn trong việc mua vắc-xin khi cam kết thoả thuận mua phải vượt qua rào cản về pháp luật, chấp nhận tất cả điều kiện của bên bán mà không được thương thuyết.

“Chúng ta cũng phải chấp nhận rủi ro vì giao hàng chậm, không được trả lại do vắc-xin không đảm bảo hay việc giao hàng không đúng thời hạn. Tình trạng khan hiếm vắc-xin vẫn đang xảy ra, các nước phát triển mua với số lượng lớn, gây ra sự bất bình đẳng trong phân phối vaccine trong quy mô toàn cầu; tâm lý sử dụng vaccine chưa ổn định... Vấn đề này Bộ Y tế nhận trách nhiệm và đã triển khai các biện pháp bảo đảm vắc-xin năm 2021 và năm 2022”, Bộ trưởng Y tế Nguyễn Thanh Long nói.
